Add Gradient Background Color Along With Stroke - Css

I have added background gradient to one of the css class, but it is taking color from stroke, is there a way to make the border gradient ? Desired gradient border.

Solution 1:

yeah, we can do gradient background-color in stroke.Here I did sample code using gradient.

@keyframes load {
  0% {
    stroke-dashoffset: 0;
  }
}
.progress {
  position: relative;
  display: inline-block;
  padding: 0;
  text-align: center;
}
.progress.bar {
  display: inline-block;
  position: relative;
  text-align: center;
  color: #93a2ac;
  font-family: Lato;
  font-weight: 100;
  margin: 2rem;
}
.progress.bar:after {
  content: attr(data-percent);
  position: absolute;
  width: 100%;
  top: 3.7rem;
  left: 0;
  font-size: 2rem;
  text-align: center;
}
.progress svg {
  width: 10rem;
  height: 10rem;
}
.progress svg:nth-child(2) {
  position: absolute;
  left: 0;
  top: 0;
  transform: rotate(-90deg);
}
.progress svg:nth-child(2) path {
  fill: none;
  stroke-width: 25;
  stroke-dasharray: 629;
  stroke: #fff;
  opacity: 0.9;
  animation: load 10s;
}
